Starfighter is officially supported on the above platforms.
If you're having problems with your joystick make sure you have configured it correctly. Load up the game and from the loader menu choose 'Options', then 'Configuration Options'. Then choose 'joysticks' and finally 'configure game controller', from here you can assign your buttons and axis as you prefer, a variety of presets are available.
Not officially supported, unsurprisingly, on Windows 2003 but it installs and plays fine.
Tested in Cedega version 5.03
The installer will run successfully but takes well over half an hour to complete, much longer than the windows installer. However the game will not play, it hangs when launching the first mission.
Mac users are out of luck with this one, it never made it to the Mac platform.
