If you played the X-Wing Alliance Demo then this mission will be very familier and it has only changed slightly.

You should deal with the Viraxo Fighters first, using the gun turret autofire helps loads. You should then take out the static defences before starting to inspect the cargo. Some more fighters will show up and you can either take them out or grab the container and run for it, if you dump energy to engines you can out pace the fighters.
