This is a very hard mission and took me a lot of attempts before I got it right.
The first thing to do is pick which craft and warheads you want. I found the
X-Wing with Missiles to be best due to the X-Wing having stronger sheilds and
the Missiles being faster.
When you arrive in the first area try hanging back with the craft you are defending
for a bit, this increases the chances that the attacking craft will go for the other
fighters on your side. Your main concern is the Tie Bombers try to take them out as soon
as possible, preferably before they reach torpedo launching range. Use your wingmen
carefully as they can be very usefull. Be ready to race
out of the area when the Rebel fleet.
The other alternative for the first section is to go for the ISD, I have not found
this to be very sucsessful due to its distance away from your start point.
Once you have finished the first sector you should take the chance to dock with the
Liberty, you can get a brand new craft with full shields and lasers by changing
to a different type of craft and then changing back.
Once in the second area you must again concentrator on the Bombers, I found
it best to use your wingman to keep fighters off your back whilst you are making runs
on the Bombers. Don't forget that you can reload your craft during this part of the mission
and use the trick above to get a brand new fighter.
At one point gunboats will appear and it is important that you take them down
asap, uising your warheads is recomended. As soon as possible head out and back to the
Rebel fleet.
If you are having dificulty with the second part of this mission there is a bug
that you can exploit. When you first go back to the Liberty order your wingman to
remain at the Liberty, this stops fighters apearing in the second stage as presumably
they only appear when he does.
