Quite a easy mission, the first thing to do when you have arrived at Endor is to assign FRG Redemption to one of your presets. When you get the message 'Pull up, Pull up' all the Tie Fighters appear. All you need to do is target your nearest attacker ('E' key) and then you can shoot it down using the turret autofire mode. Keep an eye on ships attacking the Redemption as they can destroy it if you're not careful. Just keep destroying the ties until they are all gone.

It is perfectly possible to shoot every tie down using just the autofire that's how easy this mission is.
