Please note that these films do not always go for the highest scoring strategy, more often they will take the easy option, this is because they are designed to help people that cannot get past a mission.

The films for the missions are zipped and require a program like WinZip to decompress them.

Installation Instructions

Step 1

Make sure you have patch 2.02 or higher installed for Alliance, you can get the latest patch here. You CANNOT play the films with earlier version of Alliance.

Step 2

Open up explorer and find the films directory. It should be something like c:\program files\lucasarts\X-Wing Alliance\films but it will vary depending on where you have installed Alliance.

Step 3

Copy the .flm file from this zip into the films directory.

Step 4

Start X-Wing Alliance and go to the film room. It can be found in the combat simulator if you have not yet joined the Rebels otherwise it is the bottom right hand door in the concourse.
