This mission starts off easily enough be can be quite tough towards the end.

The containers that you should be shooting are those with the Imperial logo on them. The ones with the blue ring around the base are civillian and you will loose the level if you destroy too many of them.

Use the first platform to get your bearings on the situation. You might find that the auto-aiming on the A-Wing is a bit of a problem on this level as sometimes civilian containers will get destroyed in the cross fire. There are several containers on the main level and a couple on the top level on the first base.

When you get to the second base there will be a few Ties about, don't worry too much about them as the don't usually pose much of a threat. Again shoot the Imperial containers, then move onto the next base.

The third base is made up from two platforms, each sporting a pair of gun turrets. These gun turrets should be your prime target, use your missiles if you are having dificulty hitting them. A quick jink up and down as you perform you run on them will reduce the number of hits that they get on you. After you have destroyed the gun turrets proceed to destroy the containers are before.

The fourth base is a single platform with five gun turrets on it. Again take these out first. If you are under a lot of fire you might want to hang back for a couple of seconds so that your wingmen draw their fire. Once the gun turrets have gone destroy the containers and move on.

The fifth base is made up of a pair of platforms with 3 gun turrets on each. Follow the same procedures as before and move on. If you get a chance take out some of the Ties that are buzzing around. This will push you nearer the required kills total.

After you have finished the fifth base you will fly through a large wave of Tie Fighters. If you are going for a medal you should follow them and take them down. If you get in behind them they become easy prey.

After the wave of Ties there is a large city which contains a bonus (Advanced Blasters). It is situated right in the centre of the city and it is quite tricky to pick up. You will probably find that you are under attack from a Tie Interceptor. You should take the time to destroy it as it can soon kill you if it manages a run on you. Other Ties will come to take its place but you will get a bit of a breather which can make all the difference.

On the other side of the city is the final base. It is defended by both gun turrets and missile launchers. The missile launchers are your primary target and you should use your missiles to destroy them. Keep an eye out for any incomming Tie Interceptors and move away from the base to destroy them if you haven't finished of all the defences on the base.

The mission is complete when you have destroyed the last Imperial container on the last base. If you are going for the Gold medal then make sure that you take the time to destroy any Ties that are flying around and it is the kill total that is the hardest goal to reach. You also need to collect the bonus, which is tricky so be prepared to loose a life when you can pull up from the buildings before you smash into them.
