The hardest mission so far, and your first chance to fly the speeder against AT-AT's.

Soon after the mission starts a group of six Imperial probe droids will be spotted to the left of your starting position. These shouldn't pose any problem.

Once the probe droids have been dispached the city will come under attack from Tie Bombers. There are several waves and they enter from the far side of the city near the sea. The main thing to watch out for is the buildings, I don't recommed the internal cockpit view as it makes spotting the buildings very difficult. Also remember that the speeder has a maximum height and will only just make if over the top of the highest building.

As soon as the Tie Bombers have been taken care of, you will have to fly to Crix Madine's base which is under attack from 4 Tie Bombers. The sooner you can take these out the better as it will make the later stages of the game easier if the base doesn't get too damaged.

Once the base has been defended you will have to head back to the base. There is a bonus (Advanced Photon Torpedoes) which can be collected on the way back. Fly along the cost line from Crix's base until you get to the first group of buildings. In between these buildings there is a bonus, the ground between the buildings is coloured blue so its easy to spot. Fly down to pick it up and pull back as soon as you've got it. There are also some Stormtoppers here which can be destroyed for some extra kills.

Once you get back to the base it will be under attack from an AT-AT. This is your main concern and you do not need to worry about the Tie Bombers as the Millenium Falcon will take care of them. Come in above the AT-AT, as they cannot fire upwards, then dip down as you pass it and launch the tow cable. Then fly around it, at whatever speed you find easiest, and on the third pass it will fall. Ensure that when you are circling it that you do not fly too high as the AT-AT will shoot the tow cable and release itself.

If you are finding it difficult taking the AT-AT down then persevere. It is a very important technique to learn as you will have to do it repeatedly later on in the game.

Once the AT-AT is destroyed you will have to head back to Crix Madine's base which is under attack from 2 AT-ST's and an AT-AT. Go for the AT-AT first as it will do the most damage if it reaches the base. Use the same method you used for the first AT-AT. Take out the AT-ST's next, but listen out for news of the shuttle arriving to collect Madine.

The arriving shuttle will be under attack from Tie Fighters (two groups of 6) which are fairly easy to destroy. You only need to take out a few to ensure the shuttle will reach safety. Once the shuttle has lauched from the base escort it to safety. Its route will take it over the buildings containing the bonus so if you didn't get it earlier now is your chance.

The main problem when going for the Gold medal is the number of enemy kills. Make sure that you take out any Stormtoppers when you get a chance and also you can take out any of the WaveRiders that will be speeding around in the sea.
