Mysteries of the Sith has now been combined with Jedi Knight and is available for just £29.99 for both (Sith is still available separately for varying prices). Mysteries of the Sith brings a whole new collection of missions to Jedi Knight. Mysteries of the Sith brings coloured lighting to the Jedi Knight world. It also adds a chunk of interactivity with the environment. In order to keep costs and development time down LucasArts have replaced the filmed cut scenes with ones that use the game engine. These cut scenes work surprisingly well. Unfortunatly since 3D card technology has moved on since this game was made the cutscenes can look worse than to actual game. This game is much harder than Jedi Knight, so if you haven't finished that then you will probably struggle with this. Halfway through the game you change from Kyle Katarn to Myra Jade, I won't explain what goes on to happen as it'll ruin the story. Basically this game is much the same as Jedi Knight so if you enjoyed that then buy this. Copyright 1997-2006 Gordon Johnston - Hosted by newswall.org.uk |
